Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.  Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

The word that really stood out to me in these two verses is the word “all.” First it tells us to trust Him with all our heart.  It does not say half or a third of your heart, it says all. Second it says seek his will in all you do.  To me it means I need to pray and ask God for direction for whatever I'm going to do. And it ends by telling us if we put our all into it, God will show us the direction to go.
