Matthew 18:9 NKJV
And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire.

My interpretation of what Jesus is saying here is that nothing you can look at with the desire to have is worth the tradeoff for eternal life.  He even says that if it causes you to sin, not just to pluck it out, but to cast it away from you.  To me that means it no longer is worthy of His presence.  We have to be careful what we are looking at because a second glimpse could change our destiny.
