Don't you realize that I could ask my father for thousands of angels to protect us, and He would send them instantly?

Jesus is being arrested and taken by the mob of people who have clubs and swords.  The disciples try to fight back, but Jesus makes this statement to them. What happened to Jesus had to happen to fulfill the scriptures. But get the part that Jesus says if He asked then God would respond instantly.  We are just as important to God.  When you are in trouble God is ready to dispatch help instantly, just ask.
