Spoonful - 3/6

Mark 12:43-‬44 NLT
Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on.”

In the verses prior it says Jesus was watching the people put their offerings in the collection box at the temple. The rich gave large amounts and the poor widow gave two small coins. The thing that stuck with me is the amount had no significance to Jesus it was the heart that mattered. The rich he said are making contributions and the widow gave her all. My thought is this, are we just tipping God or are we giving a true sacrifice.
