Spoonful - 12/14

Jonah 2:2 NKJV
And He said: "I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction, and He answered me…"

At this point, Jonah is in belly of the whale trying to run from God, but we all know you can run but you can't hide.  This verse uses the word affliction so we know he was in trouble.  Jonah cried out to God, and it gives the response, “God answered.”  No, it doesn't say God gave Jonah what he asked for; it simply says God answered.  So, know God will answer you when you ask.  It may not be what you wanted; it may just be what you need.
