Psalm 27:10 NKJV
When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me.

I have learned that people will always let you down in one way or another.  Sorry to disappoint you.  This verse reiterated that to me.  When the people you hold closest and most near and dear to your heart fail you, know that God will be there to take care of your needs.  He will not leave us nor forsake us.
