Spoonful - 1/19

Psalm 17:6 NLT
I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray.

This verse tells me two things.  First that God will answer our prayers, and second, He is listening to us.  I like how it says first He will answer; it doesn't say He is listening first.  It gives us the assurance that God will answer our prayers.  Of course, that doesn't always mean we will get what we ask for directly, but God will answer, and He knows our needs better than we do.
