Proverbs 28:19 NKJV
He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows frivolity will have poverty enough!

Put in a little work and you will have enough to eat.  This verse also says the reward of the foolish is poverty.  An old saying came to mind when I read this, you will get out of it what you put into it. Just put in the effort and you will receive what you need.
